A Journey To A Healthy Me


My weight has been pretty alarming for the past two years of living an unhealthy lifestyle. I used to go to the gym, I used to exercise a lot, I was really physically active. But all of a sudden I decided to become lazy. I refrained from going to the gym, I started making excuses so I can't do even a bit of physical exercises and I have been unproductive most days because I just wanted to sleep all day. Not a good idea, really! 

Just last week, when I stepped on a weighing scale, for the first time in two years, I'm 12 kilos heavier from my 49 kilos weight in 2011. Crap! I have to do something about this.

So I began running early this morning. And guess what? I ran alone. I really thought I couldn't do it by myself since running on the streets of Metro Manila is dangerous. But heck! I can't find anyone to run along with me. And I couldn't start this "healthy me" project if I don't do it by myself. So there I went and was able to burn some calories. I got tired easily because I haven't done any exercises for the past 2 years. But it really doesn't matter. What matters is I have began my journey to a "healthy me" once again. And I'm willing to continue with this journey! That's a promise!
